2007/09/26: Ph.D. position, Institute of Immunology, BSRC Fleming

One PhD position is available at the lab of Dr Vasso Kostourou, Institute of Immunology, BSRC Fleming for a highly motivated graduate to study the role of cell adhesion proteins in angiogenesis and cancer.

These studies will use transgenic mouse models and will involve cellular and molecular biology techniques as well as novel “live” imaging approaches.

The successful candidate should hold a degree in biology or related subjects. A M.Sc. degree and laboratory experience in cell/molecular biology and mouse genetics will be an asset.
