The Society offers three kinds of membership: Full, Emeritus and Assistant.

Full members should be scientists actively involved in research in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics or Clinical Biochemistry and should normally hold a PhD degree or have at least three original publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Emeritus membership is restricted to Greek or foreign scientists with significant international recognition.

Assistant members should normally be enrolled in post-graduate research in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics or Clinical Biochemistry and not yet hold a PhD degree.

Full and Assistant membership applicants should complete the above form, including a CV and the names of two Full members endorsing the application. The Administrative Board will check that the necessary requirements are met and will notify the applicant on the outcome of the application. In case of rejection, the applicant has a right of appeal at the General Assembly of the HSBMB.
